Last performance of the play in Tel Aviv

LetzteVorstellung 1webLast night the last performance of the play "Cohn Bucky Levy - The Loss" took place in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. So another subproject of "Cohn - Bucky - Levy" ended. As in Altenburg, the historical-present material was enthusiastically received by the audience, which was probably due to the excellent direction by the team around Bernhard Stengele and the extraordinary actors. Cohn - Bucky - Levy – as subproject with probably the most publicity - will certainly be remembered by the team, the descendants of the family and the visitors for a long time. In Tel Aviv, some members of other former Jewish residents also visited the play, and so hopefully the project also helped to create a historical and social reconstruction and to create encounters

LetzteVorstellung 3webFor me, the end of the theater project is to be an occasion to thank the participants, especially Bernhard Stengele, Svea Haugwitz and Mike Langer, the great actors, the teams of the two participating theaters, the authors, the "MitspielerAkademie" and the supporters. On the supporter´s side I want to mention especially the relatives of the Cohn, Bucky and Levy families, as well as the Administrator of the Altenburg County Mrs. Michaele Sojka, who has made LetzteVorstellung 2webseveral positive contributions to the realization of the project.

The origin and development of the theater project can soon be seen on film, and there are also ideas on how the topic can be dealt with in the future.

The end of the theater project is thus to be seen with a laughing and a weeping eye: a weeping, because a wonderful time ends with amazing people, a laughing because of the many positive experiences and the prospect of future events.
